Where Can I Find Music by Augusta Browne?
Here you will find current links (2023) to open-access databases that include nineteenth-century imprints of sheet music by Augusta Browne. I prefer to use original imprints like these to perform Browne’s music, although I have made Finale transcriptions of all her music.
The entries are arranged by genre (piano solos and duets; songs; hymns), then alphabetically by title. Some compositions have two or more online sources, so the links are attached to each specific source. Appendix 3 of my biography of the composer lists additional resources and archival holdings for Browne’s sheet music not available online.
How Can I Hear Music by Augusta Browne?
